The Liu Institute logo can be interpreted at three different levels as a stylized plan of two key elements of the Liu Institute building, as a tribute to the Liu family name, and as a symbol of the global vision of the Liu Institute. At the first level, the office block is depicted by the lower rectangle and the Conference Room is represented by the upper circle. At the next level, it is possible to see two letter L's that have been rotated 90 degrees that symbolize the Liu name. Finally the concentric circles are intended to represent the wholeness and the holism of the Liu Institute’s global vision.
