gLiving is an interactive installation that seeks to challenge conventional energy systems and explore the possibilities of human-powered electricity. This installation is brought to you by gBikes, a Vancouver based group supported by the eatART foundation. gBikes develops works that put electricity production into terms of physical effort. In doing so, gBikes hopes to elucidate the large-scale inefficiencies and environmental/social costs that are often masked by the ease of energy consumption.
