Democratic transition in Egypt

A public lecture by His Excellency, Wael Aboulmagd, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Canada.
 

 Mr. Aboulmagd's  expertise are in the areas of Disarmament, Human Rights, and Social and Humanitarian Affairs. He graduated from the Law School of Ain Shams University (Cairo), and obtained a Masters of Law degree (LLM) from the University of London.

Mr. Aboulmagd has represented Egypt at numerous International Conferences and events including Summit and Ministerial Conferences of the Arab League, The Organization of the Islamic Conference, The Non-Aligned Movement as well as conferences and meetings of the UN and its specialized agencies. He has also represented Egypt at 11 sessions of the UN Authority for the Law of the Sea where he presided over several working groups and drafting committees during the institution building phase of the authority. He has lectured extensively in Egypt and overseas on issues of Public International Law and Human Rights issues.
